Hujiang EdTech’s subsidiary company, CCtalk, recently had the opportunity to host a team of students from Harvard Business School in Shanghai for one week as part of a required first-year course at Harvard Business School called the FIELD Global Immersion. Hujiang EdTech was one of 157 FIELD Global Partners spanning 13 countries around the world. Together these Global Partners combined to host more than 930 Harvard Business School students in all.

As a leading online education and technology company in China, Hujiang EdTech has developed advanced technologies to better serve users learning online. Around 170 million users are able to enjoy diversified interactive online learning products and services with high quality on its platforms.
“We are pleased to be working with Harvard Business School to provide students with a real-world learning experience in China,” shares Arnold Fu, founder, chairman and CEO of Hujiang EdTech. “It is a fruitful and meaningful journey. We feel certain that the students were able to gather insights here that they would never be able to glean from a classroom discussion alone.”

In Hujiang, the six students from Harvard Business School carried out their researches and interviews during a week in a bid to provide a comprehensive solution to CCtalk, the company’s interactive online teaching platform, on how to provide better services to new registered independent teachers (iTeachers).
“I’m grateful that CCtalk is chosen to be part of this program,” shared Kong Wei, president of CCtalk, “which shows online learning is now widely recognized by the public. It’s a new beginning for us that we are able to gain professional views and solutions from both inside and outside to make the platform more user-friendly and enhance our capability of incubation of new and young iTeachers,” said Kong.

The FIELD Global Immersion is a course designed to strengthen and develop students’ global intelligence – their ability to manage and operate effectively across cultures and business contexts. Hujiang EdTech executives had been working with the team remotely in the months leading up to their arrival in country. While here, the students pitched their ideas to the leadership team, conducted field research with consumers around Shanghai and presented their final recommendations to management. The purpose of this immersive experience is to provide students with the opportunity to do real fieldwork in an unfamiliar context.
Harvard is quick to acknowledge that this important learning experience would not be possible without the Global Partners.

“We are extremely grateful to Hujiang EdTech and all the FIELD Global Partner organizations for all they do on behalf of our students,” said Professor Juan Alcacer, the faculty head of FIELD. “The students benefit immeasurably from this experience and we hope the partner organizations do as well.”
