Film, Television, Commercials, Voice Over, and Narrator Actor and Filmmaker Dave Bresnahan Enjoys It All

“Dave Bresnahan is an actor, filmmaker, voice over artist, and book narrator.”
Actor and filmmaker Dave Bresnahan says he enjoys all aspects of making and appearing in movies, television, commercials and voice over work including documentary and book narration.

Sandy, Utah – Dave Bresnahan is an actor as well as a filmmaker, and says he likes the variety he has found by being in television shows, movies, commercials, and narration of documentaries and books. He is also an active producer.

Most recently he has appeared in six episodes of the first season of the CW Network television series The Outpost, and even filled in as the set medic because of his skills as an EMT. He says he is grateful the needs for a medic were only for very minor things.

Bresnahan stars in Enter the Fringe in the role of Nun, who rules a scavenging operation in a city in the middle of a devastated world.

Next up, he has been selected to appear in the television mini-series Recovery. He stars in the role of Dr. William Huffy, who discovers there is a better way to help a young man in his addiction recovery group – searching for ghosts!

Bresnahan has also been selected for a key role in the feature film Famine, which will film in Ireland, England, and Turkey. He will play the role of an Irish priest who tells a young girl the story of a romance interrupted by the Irish famine, and is the narrator in the film. “I was selected for the role by director Omer Sarikaya based on my demo reel which led to doing a video audition,” Bresnahan explained.

The Chronic Adventure Story is another project Bresnahan has been selected to appear in, which will begin filming later this year in Boston.

“My favorite project so far this year is actually a special short film made by the Unified Police Department called Not Funny. It tells the story of a teenager who thought it was funny to post a picture of himself with guns in a meme that warned kids not to go to a certain class in school. I played the father in the film. It is now being shown to middle and high school students throughout Utah to hopefully prevent them from making a mistake that could damage their lives,” said Bresnahan.

He also narrated Invaders, a documentary film that warns people about the various invasive species that are negatively impacting Utah. He is also narrates books, most recently 911 First responders at Ground Zero.
