Rumours and reports are emerging that suggest Nicole Scherzinger is leaving the X Factor. She may well be best known for her work as the lead singer from The Pussycat Dolls and for her work as a panel judge on the X Factor, however, what you may not know is that Scherzinger has a huge resume, filled with a variety of entertainment and philanthropic work, proving that she is an inspirational woman that is quickly becoming a household name.
As well as her talents in singing and entertaining, Scherzinger also does a lot of work for many different philanthropic organizations. Most recently, Scherzinger has been doing a lot of incredible work with the Special Olympics. She was named as the Global Ambassador of the Special Olympics in 2013. She has a personal connection to the Special Olympics due to having a close family member with Down Syndrome. When the partnership with the Special Olympics was formally announced, Scherzinger took to Twitter, posting “I’m really excited to have been announced as a Global Ambassador for @SpecialOlympics #blessed #keepshining!”
She also opened up the Qatar Airlines’ campaign for the World Cup with ad where she reimagines classic song ‘Dancing in the Streets’. Scherzinger said: “Music is a force for good. Historically, it is one of the most powerful forces for uniting humans because it transcends language barriers. This particular song that we’re working on is so powerful and it has a strong message – it celebrates and unites.”
Her kind nature shone through when she reportedly surprised guests with an impromptu performance at the private party of the richest man in Bulgaria, Vasil Bojkov. Entrepreneur and philanthropist Vasil Bojkov, one of the richest man in Eastern Europe threw a party on the island of Mykonos in Greece. Scherzinger reportedly flew into the party Island Mykonos with his private plane and performed for him and his guests. Rumours say she may have met her Bulgarian boyfriend there as Grigor Dimitrov attended the same party.
Finally, earlier this year it was announced that Scherzinger is to be the newest spokesperson for the Proactiv+ skincare line, joining a list of other celebrities that have done this in the past, including people like Adam Levine and Julianne Hough. Her partnership with Proactiv+ comes after her own struggles with skin issues with skin health and acne.
