‘Stone Cold Iris’ is the first full length album Patrick van Zandwijk is using under his new name ‘Sandwick’. The album is about the journey of Patrick’s past years and inspired by everything that happened during it, the good times and the bad times. ‘Stone Cold Iris’ is a mix of songs with vocals and instrumentals, showing both the positive and the difficult times.
In a recent interview, Patick said, “I really want to thank my wife, my family, friends and everybody that has put in effort into making this album a success. I especially appreciate the effort of Glenn Welman, my go-to session drummer with incredible skills who helped putting my vision to life. I also want to say a big thank you to all my fans out there for the relentless belief. They should expect videos and promotion, including the first single for the album real soon. I’m also looking to bring together a few artists to play a couple of small shows”.

Patrick van Zandwijk, also known as Sandwick is a Songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, solo artist and guitar enthusiast who has been doing solo music since 2013. He plays the ‘experimental’ rock genre, pushing the boundaries of common rock compositions and performance technique. Patrick was born and raised in Asperen, Netherlands. Patrick plays all instruments in his music including bass and the 12 string guitar, mandolin, ukulele, electric guitar, keyboard, piano and strings.
