July 30, 2018 – Global Children Financial Literacy Foundation (GCFLF), a non-profit working to raise financial literacy among children, is proud to announce its partnership with The Keith Ivey Jr. NBA program.
GCFLF is a Georgia based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2017, and has made tremendous strides in playing a significant role in financial literacy for children. The co-founder of GCFLF, Chadrick Davis, is the executive producer of the popular podcast ‘The Investor Show’ and Hawaii’s number one financial literacy television show, ‘The Prince Of Investing’, both hosted by GCFLF Founder/President Prince Dykes.
The Keith Ivey Jr. NBA program was created by Newport News, Virginia native Mr. Keith Ivey, and falls under the Jr. NBA brand, which is a global basketball program that aims to celebrate, grow, and improve the game of basketball. Keith Ivey was presented with an opportunity from the Washington Wizards to partner with the team and help their Jr. NBA division.
GCFLF co-founder and Navy veteran Chadrick Davis said: “I am extremely grateful and honored to be presented with the opportunity to help prepare the next generation for the financial challenges that lie ahead of them and make sure they are ready to face them head on.” “It is GCFLF belief that preparing our children today with a basic level of financial knowledge will help them avoid many of the pitfalls that the previous generation has fallen into,” Davis added.
Keith Ivey said: “I am committed to working with the young men and women participating in the program and am focused on providing them with the necessary tools needed to succeed in life, and I feel that GCFLF will make a great addition to the Keith Ivey Jr. NBA program.”
In December, 2017 GCFLF partnered with Fortified Technical Solutions (FTS) to host the world’s first children’s financial literacy and technology expo to over 250 children and young adults in Gray, Georgia. The organization held their 2nd expo in Aurora, Colorado to over 1,500 students at Gateway High School.
‘The Investor Show’ has featured many successful entrepreneurs and professional athletes, and in 2017 became the first independent outlet to cover Warren Buffets annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting.
