THE ADVOCACY FOUNDATION OF AMERICA LAUNCHES FREE ONLINE PLATFORM FOR THE MENTAL HEALTHCARE AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT INDUSTRY

New technology will allow mental health and substance abuse programs to streamline service delivery.

Time is of great essence today in reaching out to those who need help with mental healthcare and substance abuse treatment. The Advocacy Foundation of America is a nationwide, non-profit organization founded by Mel K Whaley, and has announced the launch of iBHealthList.com, where service providers can now register for FREE and make their services known on the only criteria search database to include Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment providers, as well as, wrap around service providers all on one platform.

iBHealthList.com is now live and ready for providers nationwide to register their services for people in need of treatment for mental health and substance abuse. The platform, where even non-profits and churches can register for free, also offers providers to register services such as clothing, housing, and transportation. Advocacy Foundation of America is known locally as Tennessee Advocacy Talk.

The model of “Work Together, Rise Together” is desperately needed in the industry, and our mission is to advocate for providers uniting as a whole to tackle the epidemics in the community,” said a spokesperson for The Advocacy Foundation of America.

The Advocacy Foundation of America aims to use technology to increase the quality of care for patients through streamlining the referral process and increasing communication for the mental health and substance abuse industries. The new platform is the only criteria-based search platform in the industry that will connect all the different sectors of the industry in one main hub for community members and workers in the industry to search for services.  

For care providers and state agencies, the organization has contracted with the #1 Full Service Telemedicine provider in the nation to offer a special program called TeleB. The program is intended to help increase patient flow and decrease overhead costs. The program can also be customized to meet the specific requirements of schools, the judicial system, crisis services, the disabled, etc.
