The Founder/CEO of The World Egg Bank, Diana Thomas, has received a great honor by being awarded as one of the Most Influential Women in Arizona for the July 2018 issue of AZ Business Magazine. Thomas was featured on the cover of the magazine along with an article about her work in the magazine spread. She joins a long list of accomplished women in the state of Arizona with this prestigious award.
Thomas has been working in Arizona for over 25 years, starting with multi-million-dollar architectural restoration projects, eventually moving to open the world’s first commercial egg bank headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Her own infertility journey is what inspired her to create The World Egg Bank, assisting those in need of donor eggs and helping them to create the family of their dreams.

As stated in the magazine, Thomas commented, “I am proud of being able to educate infertile women to expand their reproductive options and challenging traditional beliefs and misconceptions around family building through egg donation. Also educating fertile women to embrace social egg freezing as a way to secure their future fertility.”
Thomas was honored at The Most Influential Women for 2018 reception that began at 5:30 p.m. on August 23, 2018 at The Camby. She was supported by her family, friends and employees to celebrate this incredible achievement.
“I was thrilled when I received the news that Diana was nominated for this honor. I have worked for Diana for years and absolutely love my job with The World Egg Bank. In 2015, Diana envisioned a new state of the art facility and put it into full effect creating not just a beautiful environment for her staff, but a comfortable, spa-like atmosphere for our gracious donors. Her dedication and drive is so inspiring and she is a true mentor for me. On a personal note, fifteen years ago, I was fortunate enough to be one of Diana’s indented parents in need of a donor myself. Not only is Diana a great business woman, she is a wonderful friend and I am forever grateful for her role in my success with achieving my beautiful family. Congratulations Diana,” said Tonya Heilbrun, Client Representative at The World Egg Bank.
