When his Italian client tapped him to sell his two-bedroom, two-bathroom loft on Bowery, Andrea Pedicini knew that a makeover was in order.
“I immediately made very clear to my client that the only way to stand out in such a crowded market place was to remodel his unit” – Pedicini, who works as a Real Estate Agent for Citi Habitats, explained – “I have always been into design and I knew I could turn the space into something spectacular”.
Pedicini indeed turned #3 at 153 Bowery into a chic Italian styled apartment, swapping the ’90s-era fixtures and finishes for an ultra-modern kitchen, a lofty living area with beamed ceilings a built-in wine cooler and bar and a fresh master bedroom that leads to a 500 sqft terrace.
“Growing up in Italy you are constantly surrounded by a sense of style and elegance when it comes to interior design or architecture in general, and that’s exactly what inspired this renovation” Pedicini explained. “The idea was to create a light and airy space, playing with neutral colors. Most of the materials we used, including all the appliances, were indeed from Italy”.
The unit was sold within six months for $2,525,000 to a medical executive.
