In “Outside MY Box,” McClaney addresses the emotions and situations that everyone experiences, but often feels compelled to hide and keep inside. They may not know how to express themselves or feel constrained by society to live, act or be a certain way. Almost everyone has a “box” within which they live where they’re not required to leave their comfort zone.
People may move from box to box as they progress through life, but it’s always with their walls firmly intact. McClaney seeks to help people look outside their comfort zone and hopes to inspire readers to not just live but to be exuberantly alive.
McClaney has written poetry since he was a child and his expressiveness never wavered, even as he traveled the world. The book is a culmination of his varied and diverse experiences and interactions with the people he met while deployed overseas in the U.S. Navy.
“I’ve always found myself compelled to uplift others when they need it,” said McClaney. “So, one day I decided to uplift the world via a book of motivational poetry. It’s going to shock my audience that I’ve done this and have always been writing.”
The release of “Outside MY Box” by Rasonn J. McClaney offers inspiring and motivational poetry that will challenge individuals to question the world and live outside their self-imposed box. The author invites readers to join him on a journey of comfort, discovery and to embrace everything life has to offer.
