This is no less than a festival for the people of Geauga County. The Annual Apple Butter Festival aims at continuing the old tradition of cooking apple butter in copper kettles on open fires. The Apple Butter Festival also features specialty foods, arts and crafts, and this year’s interesting activities are Broom Making, Weaving, Face Painting, Blacksmithing, Kites, Pottery Making and kids’ games. The displays will also feature Amish bakery items, Crafters, Historic Artisans, and mouthwatering food.

They can also witness time-honored craft making as mentioned above. At the end of the day, visitors can take home a delicious jar of apple butter to spread on those freshly baked Amish delicacies. The Century Village Museum is a true representation of the Western Reserve Village that prevailed between the 1798 and 19th century.
