Actor Randall Malin has been nominated Best Actor for his starring role as Judge Edward Morgan in the feature film Ruling of the Heart.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Ruling of the Heart was released early in 2018 and features Actor Randall Malin in the lead role as Judge Edward Morgan.

Malin has been nominated as Best Actor in the 2018 TV Series Guy Awards. The finalist will be selected by film viewers by voting online (CLICK HERE TO VOTE).

In Ruling of the Heart, a strict judge (Malin) gets stuck in a café during a snowstorm. He finds himself confronted by two people he ruled against in court, and learns that the truth isn’t always what appears on the surface. The judge realizes he must look deeper into the lives of others, as well as himself, in order to find the proper balance between justice and mercy.

Malin is one of just five who were nominated for the Best Actor award. His performance in Ruling of the Heart is one that he says gave him an opportunity to fully apply his skills and talents as an actor. The trailer for the film gives a great preview of Malin’s excellent performance.

Randall Malin is an American television and film actor who is also known best for his performance as Gulman in the hit CW Network series The Outpost, as well as a soon-to-be-aired episode in season 2 of Yellowstone on the Paramount Network.

Malin has also appeared in supporting roles in the television series Granite Flats, What Would You Do, and feature films Other Monsters, and Lost at Desert. He is also well known for his five-year-run as the professor on the Check City commercials.

In addition to acting, Malin a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists and has been in private practice for many years.
