Clearwave Corporation Discusses How Kiosks Might Change Certain Aspects of Healthcare on 21st Century Television

Boca Raton FL, December 18, 2014 — By many standards, the medical community is a step behind other industries when it comes to providing customers with services.

Although it is common elsewhere for clients to have self service programs, in healthcare, the process remains cumbersome. Stone describes the doctor office experience that many patients have: they walk into the office, receive a clipboard with papers to fill out, they spend several minutes doing so and then hand the paper back to the front desk. He says the Clearwave is helping to change this routine by automating the process through self service kiosks. Patients can go up to kiosk, fill in their information, and even make payments the same way they would at other places, such as an airport.

JL Haber, the Vice President of Programming for 21st Century Television describes this process as ‘revolutionary’, saying, “the tedious process of registering at a doctor’s office tends to slow down appointments, frustrate patients, and overall be unnecessarily tedious.
