Directed by Steven Pearce, the film explores mankind’s attempt to scientifically prove methods for enriching the human experience through the examination of various events of the 20th century. The film has launched on Kickstarter and seeks to raise $20,000 for production and distribution.
“This film honors the human experience in so many ways. We look at history, science, religion, spirituality, and how all these come together to tell a tale of the spiritual revolution that is ongoing right now in the world,” said Pearce. “Inner peace in the modern age is a fascinating topic to me as it encompasses so many parts of life and various disciplines and connects so many different cultures and religious beliefs.”
The full-length film features interviews with subject matter experts such as clinical psychologist Mark Coleman, psychotherapist and philosopher Piero Ferrucci, spiritual counselor Rev. Jennifer Hadley, historian Daniel Horowitz, spiritual psychologists Ron and Mary Hulnick, professor Gerd Kempermann, researcher Sara Lazar, and physician and spiritual psychologist Dr. Ralph Pearce.
