Graphic Novels About African Heroes and Heroines From Time Past

Philadelphia, PENNSYLVANIA – JAN 19, 2015 – There are so many of them and yet they remain literally in the dark.  African Legends.  Notable figures who have graced the African landscape, their fits, conquests and accomplishments are beyond commendable and yet, they are nearly extinct.  Now Youthopia9ja, a creativity and innovations driven organisation which specialises in the creation of the best quality indie-graphic novels, comic books and illustrated literature under Creative Director, ‘Seun Oyekanmi, a life-long artist and enthusiast has launched a Kickstarter to bring these heroes to life and bring them the immortality they so richly deserve.

A great deal of research was done into these legends to ensure their historical accuracy and authenticity. The Art work in these comic books and graphic novels is impeccable with a great attention to detail such that it gives the illusion of watching a block buster, through the pages of the book.

This series is innovative, including a technological ‘missing link’ embedding the Books digitally on USB devices which can be viewed on PCs and Smart phones, and then selling these books through traditional media including other resources that accompany the books such as POS and promotional materials.

Angel investors helping to fund the The African Legendary Series campaign to the next level will be eligible for perks such as thank yous, E-Award certificates, copy of the Legend of Princess Moremi, copy of the African Legendary Series Vol. 1, African beaded hand band, African beaded necklace, traditional African print shirt,  African leather purse, African Warrior mask in addition to the actual copies of the Graphic novels and lots more.

The African Legendary Series team understands not everyone may be able to give money to help the The African Legendary Series campaign, so they ask that those who cannot give monetarily help by spreading the word about The African Legendary Series project online through social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr or record a video challenge for Vine, Facebook or Instagram to invite friends to give to or share this Kickstarter fundraiser. Include #AfricanLegendarySeries in all posts.
