Cherrystone Auctions is all set to host its third public stamp sale of U.S. and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History on March 12-13, 2019. The auction is currently open on the company’s website and pre-auction bids are already coming in. The upcoming auction will feature a total of 1,577 lots and it will be conducted in four sessions.
The first session of Cherrystone’s stamp auction will start at 10 am on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. It will feature lots 1-376 from the United States Stamps including back of the book. The second session will start at 1 pm on the same day with lots 377-763 from Austria, China, France, and the German Area.
The third session will start at 10 am on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. It will feature lots 764-1,251 from Great Britain and British Commonwealth, Italy and Colonies, Japan, Poland, and Romania. The fourth and final session will kick off at 1 pm on the same day with lots 1,252-1,577 from Russia, Switzerland, and Thailand, including all the large lots and collections. The live public auction will take place at the company’s New York City galleries at 19 West 57th Street, Suite 316 New York, NY 10019. Please note that bids received after the start of each individual session cannot be guaranteed. Pre-auction bids are not officially entered into the auction until they are finalized.
