GT Models, the multi-talent platform that has helped more models take the first step of their careers than any other agency, is pleased to announce the opening of its first office in New York. The success of its London work will be replicated in the US too, creating the largest openings than other modelling platforms.
The Manhattan luxury office of GT Models has set itself an ambitious task – to sign 1,000 models in the very first sixty days. It will come as no surprise to those familiar with GT Models, as it is not an agency or a middleman, but rather a platform which has access to a database of hundreds of modelling agencies from all over the world.
The New York studio venture will run for over 6 weeks. The test shoots will be conducted only once for selected models, and others can give a second shot after a gap of 18 months. The test shoots are inclusive for all ages, including male and female models, plus size aspirants, character models, and child models. Those without prior modelling experience and no reference from a previous model agency maybe asked a refundable deposit of $50 while booking the shoot.
“We have links across all areas of the industry including Commercial, Catalogue and TV & Film extra work, as one of the leading UK platforms we have the skills and expertise to give you the competitive edge you will need to make it as a top model,” said Marcus Green of GT Models.
In London, GT Models launched the careers of over 2,000 models in just the last year. This is an achievement that few modelling agencies can undertake to achieve. The feat has been made possible by an easy application process that works online. The London branch receives about 2,000 applications a week (80,000 a year). From this, every week around 100 applicants go for a test shoot, and receive copies of complimentary images they can use.
Aspiring models can add their names to attend the first wave of interviews by visiting the official GT Models site.
