New York, NY – Her Excellency Dr. Jacqueline Mohair of Georgia was among the program speakers selected for a special workshop at the 57th Session of the United Nation’s Commission for Social Development. The workshop, Activating and Strengthening Women Empowerment Through Economic and Social Inclusion, was hosted by the Global Empowerment Movement (GEM) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
Dr. Mohair was invited to participate in the special workshop by GEM founder Dr. Queen Blessing Itua, who gave opening remarks. The workshop was moderated by Minister Alexander Tope Ajayi, Nigeria. Also on the program were –

“I am grateful to Dr. Blessing Itua for including me in such an important program. I am passionate about the work that is being done by GEM, the United Nations, and through our own local efforts to improve the lives of women globally through empowerment,” Dr. Mohair said.
Dr. Mohair has a lifetime of humanitarian work with a special focus on empowering women and girls. She is currently the Chief Visionary and United Nations(UN) Ambassador for Trinity Girls Network Corporation and Trinity International University of Ambassadors. Mohair is the former Ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Council (UNECOSOC) for Word of Life Ministries/International Third World Leaders Association. She received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama in 2016. The former Secretary of State Brian Kemp, honored her with the Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award. In which, she is the Global Ambassador for the State of Georgia. In 2017, she was honored by the House and Senate of the State of Georgia in recognition for the work with Trinity Girls Network Corp. As well as, a commendation from the former Governor Nathan Deal. Her most recent success includes being honored by President Donald Trump, with the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mohair is cofounder of the Trinity Girls Network and, with her husband, founded Trinity International University of Ambassadors. In 2018, Mohair was the first African American woman to be a candidate to represent Georgia in the House of Representatives District 103.
In addition to her humanitarian work, Dr. Mohair is also an entrepreneur. She operates Mpowered Media Solutions, a global business development firm that helps entrepreneurs create winning strategies for success through marketing, sales and technology.
