Jimmie VanZant Hits Studio and Stage; Lynard Skynyrd Remembered

Thursday January 29, Jimmie VanZant will hit the stage at Universal studios Orlando Florida with some Lynard Skynyrd classics and selections from his newest material. VanZant is currently in the studio in Nashville, cranking out what he says — “is our best southern rock material in 20 years.”

In a recent concert in Nashville, Tennessee hosted by Jimmie VanZant  to commemorate the 37th anniversary of the tragic plane crash that took Jimmie’s relatives including the founder songwriter and lead singer of the original Lynard Skynyrd, Ronnie VanZant and 3 other band members. “We have guest stars on stage with us a lot, but that show in Nashville had the who’s who in Southern Rock,” Jimmie VanZant added.

Thomas R. Reich, CMO of YourPMA and Jimmie VanZant’s promotional consultant was with VanZant recently at Daytona Biketoberfest.  “Gregg Allman’s son showed up and Jimmie brought him up on stage for Simple Man as a few others showed up.” Reich continued, “Van Zant and friends did a 40 minute version of Free Bird, It just does not get better than that.”

“Tom Reich promoted Jimmie’s last single ‘Unfinished life’ and got him millions of views of the video, Tom goes way back in music promotions, he was involved with INXS, YES and 2LiveCrew to name a few, he knows who to pick” Robert Washick CEO of YourPMA commented: “Reich is great with businesses clients, but with a performer like Jimmie VanZant he really shines.”

“Whenever we perform Free Bird, it is always for those that have fallen in this business of music as well as friends and relatives that have fallen in battle defending our great country.” VanZant went on, “We like to think those great patriots are flying free as a bird, still feeling the love so freely given to all of us.”

“Jimmie is very involved in helping our returning troops that have given so much to our country,” Reich added. “Men like Chris Kyle, who was depicted in the Clint Eastwood directed film ‘American Sniper’, deserve our undying gratitude.”

The world is still buzzing about the October 20th 2014 concert. “We had a great show here in Nashville to help support our troops that have served and survived as well as to the ones that did not. Our blessings and prayers will always continue for them and their Families and loved ones,” Jimmie said with his trade mark humble southern manner.

“We are planning a ‘No Holds Barred’ 2015 Tour,” Jimmie VanZant announced. “I’ve already begun recording on another album that will bring back the southern rock roots that the music has lost in recent years.”

“Information on Jimmie VanZant’s world tour is available and up dated weekly on JimmieVanZant.com,” Washick added.
