Pompano Beach, Fla., Feb. 2, 2015 — DS Healthcare Group, Inc. (DSKX), a leading developer of personal care products, today announced it has entered into an agreement to begin supplying 18/8 Fine Men’s Salons nationwide. 18/8, who’s name is derived from the original formula for stainless steel (18/8% chromium + 8% nickel added to iron), as a metaphor for “Transformation”…18/8 Fine Men’s Salons services are geared towards helping men look and feel great, which can lead to more self confidence and better performance in all that they do. 18/8 Fine Men’s Salons provide a complete portfolio of salon services to affluent men throughout the country. Combined with its corporate locations, 18/8 has already awarded over 320 franchise units and is the fastest growing brand focused on the premium men’s grooming segment.
The launch is scheduled to begin at 18/8 Fine Men’s Salons corporate locations and the rollout will move quickly through the franchisees and will include strategic support from DS Healthcare. Products manufactured by DS Healthcare are closely aligned with 18/8’s model of core values with a strong focus on innovation and performance.
“The partnership with 18/8 is an extraordinary opportunity for us that will allow our products to be introduced to a highly desirable, affluent demographic. We are incredibly excited for the opportunity to work with the unique business model of 18/8 and can’t think of a more ideal environment to distribute our products, stated DS Healthcare President and CEO Daniel Khesin.
“We intend to work closely with DS Healthcare Group and to make their Revita and Spectral brand an exclusive offering for our clients. These products represent an important value added offering. Having followed the company for some time and having tested their products in our salons, without a doubt they will make a difference in the lives of our customers and improve their hair and scalp health,” added Ron Love, President and Co-founder of 18/8.
A recent CNBC article quoted, “More than 40 million men and 21 million women are affected by hair loss in the United States alone, and the industry built around curing the problem is huge. In fact, the amount of money spent on curing hair loss has been criticized for outstripping other public health issues such as malaria.”
