The organizers of Busan International Film Festival have proudly announced that the legendary Connie Yawen Gao will be attending the festival as a judge this year. The Busan International Film Festival is an annual showbiz spectacular held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan in South Korea. “As a Special Effects Creative Designer, I believe that one should not hesitate in exploring beyond boundaries of what is traditional or contemporary, because the canvas in this industry is much broader and one can perform miracles in any production by thinking out of the box,” said Connie Yawen Gao, while talking about the importance of special effects in a film or drama. “I have spent more than a decade creating special effects and creativity in film and television, and I have learned that there is always a next level that can be achieved by consistency and originality,” she added.
Connie Yawen Gao won an award for her film ‘IIMUAHII at the Couture Fashion Film and her work was also rewarded at the 2016 Fashion Film Festival Chicago. She has also been featured on Global Fashion Channel and her work was also nominated at the globally renowned La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival 2016.
In addition, the artist has also been associated with the Academy of Art University and she has worked and studied in the United States throughout her career, while also expressing her creative skills for the Chinese cinema.
