San Diego, CA – From gang member to Multi Millionaire, Ryan Blair discusses how and why there wasn’t a chance the world was going to stop him.
Blair was the CEO of ViSalus in 2005, sold the company to publicly traded Blyth Inc. in2008, weathered the recession and almost went bankrupt, but then generated $624 million in product sales and $97 million in profit by 2012 and bought the company back from Blyth in 2014 for $143 million. Blair stepped down as CEO in January 2017 to devote more time to his fast-growing venture capital firm HashTagOne and towards mentoring leading tech innovators.
Ryan Blair is no stranger to media, but has taken time out in the last 2 years to do what he does best… Be impeccable with everything he releases to the world from raising his 9 year old autistic son to becoming the absolute best version of himself to perfecting his product releases. He discusses with Karl Stedman CEO and Founder of PSTV how he released the adversity to build the best version of him, for himself, for his son and for his company.
Blair’s father died on March 20th, just a few days before this interview. He touches on his father’s drug use and lack of fathership for Ryan at all, and yet through the work he’s done in the last decade on himself posts publicly, “Rest in Peace Dad. I love you, forgive you and hope to make your proud.”
