The 4th Global Cross-border E-commerce Summit in Hangzhou

 
The 2019 “New Tides in Qiantang River, Digital Trends along the Silk Road” 4th Global Cross-border E-commerce Summit will be held in Hangzhou White Horse Lake International Convention and Exhibition. Sponsored by China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, the keynote forum will be held on June 27, while the 2019 Amazon Global Seller Summit Forum and Direct Purchase Conference will be between June 28 and 29.
 
This is the third successful session by the Global Cross border E-commerce Summit. In 2016, it predicted that China will be at the forefront of shaping cross-border E-commerce rules globally. In 2017, discussions centered on linkages between cross-border E-commerce and the Belt and Road Initiative. Last year, it elaborated the cohesion between digital Silk Road and economic globalization.
 
This year, the summit will have further discussions on digital Silk Road,its significance to global economy, share Hangzhou’s experience, and showcase innovative applications in digital industrialization and industrial digitization.
 
The theme of the summit is, “digital enabling, industrial merging”. Digital enabling refers to introduction of digital technology to traditional industries to boost efficient piggy-backing on cross-border E-commerce platform. Industrial merging, on the other hand, refers to the integration of online and offline traditional industries with Internet as the platform. Based on cross-border E-commerce, the summit will focus on the cutting-edge digital industrialization technologies and innovative applications as well as Hangzhou’s experience in industrial digitalization from the global economy perspective. It will build on Hangzhou’s efforts to develop the Digital Silk Road strategic hub, and further deepen development of the Belt and Road Initiative. 
 
The keynote forum will invite senior experts from home and abroad, representatives from countries along the Belt and Road, persons in charge of relevant ministries and commissions, representatives of 35 cross-border E-commerce comprehensive pilot areas, and persons in charge of relevant provincial and municipal departments. This is in addition to more than 1,000 representatives of outstanding cross-border E-commerce platforms, brands, sellers, foreign trade enterprises and service providers. 
 
Besides the main forum, dated June 27, two sub-forums on practical operation are also scheduled. They will focus on global cross-border E-commerce platform trends and the deployment of operating stations in 2019. Amazon will make a special presentation on June 28 and 29. More than 4,000 participants of the Amazon Global Selling Program, 150+ factories and high-quality service providers from East China Special Industrial Belt will attend the Amazon Global Seller Summit Forum and Direct Purchase Conference. Moreover, the 2019 Top 100 Chinese Brands of Amazon Global Selling Program will be publicized. Some of the Top 100 sellers will share their global experience with the participants on site.
