Harlem, NY – Aug 13, 2019 – DKB Industries is pleased to announce the release of author Daryll Bryant’s new book, Engage. Lead. Deliver.
Daryll Bryant was a featured speaker at the 2019 Harlem Book Fair, where he addressed a crowd of over 500 people and was interviewed by the Quarterly Black Book Review (QBR). QBR is the first national book review organization exclusively dedicated to books by African-American authors. QBR also produces the Harlem Book Fair, the largest national African-American book fair, held annually in New York City and throughout the United States.
The Harlem Book Fair, which is free to the public, features over 250 exhibit booths, four stages, celebrity authors, bookselling, book signing, and storytelling. It provides a platform for outstanding African-American authors to promote their books and engage with their audience. Harlem Book Fair authors offer their perspectives on relationships, health, finance, music, politics, street fiction, and much more. Harlem is a historic section of NYC. Long known for its intimate jazz clubs, soul food institutions, and proud African-American heritage, Harlem draws a diverse crowd of locals and visitors.
The Harlem Book Fair was an opportunity for Daryll to connect with emerging leaders and encourage them to become successful leaders who deliver results. Attendees were immediately drawn to his book, and they were offered a free Exploratory Coaching Consultation to help them recognize their leadership challenges and discover tools to overcome these challenges.
Daryll is a transformational leader with a passion for helping companies create engaging work environments. As he discusses in his book, engaged employees are happier and more productive, yet many leaders find it challenging to create the type of engagement that results in workplace happiness, productivity, and increased profits.
Daryll has a distinguished career in manufacturing, providing proven results for several notable Fortune 100 organizations including General Electric, Pepsi, M&M Mars, Diageo, and others. In 2018, Daryll launched DKB Industries as a way to help emerging leaders optimize their role in creating cohesive and engaged teams that support a company’s values, mission, and success.
Daryll said about the event, “The Harlem Book Fair was the perfect place to debut my book. As a former resident of the community, it was great to reconnect with my roots while promoting my book. The book resonated with many of the book fair participants, and it was exciting to be able to talk with them about what inspired me to write it and how it could help new leaders in any industry to rise to the challenge of leadership. Being invited to close out the Harlem Book Fair as a speaker was a fantastic way to end the one-year journey of writing Engage. Lead. Deliver., and it signaled the start of sharing this work with the world. I couldn’t think of a better place to begin sharing it than in historic Harlem, the heart of New York City.”
Engage. Lead. Deliver. is available in popular bookstores, including Barnes & Noble and Amazon, as well as on the DKB Industries website at https://www.dkbindustries.com/store.
