Sacramento, California – October 17, 2019 – Caffeine and Kilos is proud to announce that its Co-founder and CEO, Danny Lehr, won the gold medal for Team USA at the Masters World Cup for Weightlifting. The weightlifting event took place in San Diego, California, from October 3 through October 6, 2019.
Representing Team USA, Danny competed in the M35 Age Group and Weight Category 89. He placed number one in his division by lifting 113 kilograms in the Snatch event. During the Clean & Jerk portion of the competition, Danny peaked at 153 kilograms, an impressive 20 kilograms higher than second place. Danny ended the event with a total SMF of 331.940 kilograms, bringing home the gold for the United States.

Danny Lehr is the Co-founder and CEO of Caffeine & Kilos, along with Dean Saddoris. He’s always supported athletes and started weightlifting himself in 2010. In 2013, Danny helped launch Caffeine & Kilos. After 26 weightlifting meets, Danny took a step back from competitions to focus on his career. The Masters World Cup victory was Danny’s first major meet since 2015.
