Washington, DC – Social Kitchen always brings an element of surprise with its array of product offerings! The restaurant menu will relish your taste buds, the cooking classes will inspire you, and their events will provide you with authentic and meaningful connections.
In addition to their restaurant offerings, Social Kitchen hosts a variety of cooking classes, culinary pop-ups, brunches, mixers and other private catered events. The boutique space will also serve as the home of Karat Cakery, DC’s only bakery dedicated exclusively to carrot cake, and Plant Based Everything, a vegan pop-up and catering service.
During the Grand Opening, guests will experience all that Social Kitchen has to offer. The event will not only feature a preview of the restaurant’s menu, but special tastings from its partners Karat Cakery and Plant-Based Everything. Social Kitchen will host cooking demonstrations from local chefs as a preview to the cooking classes it offers. Karat Cakery’s scrumptious carrot cake products will play a prominent role, and there will be fun activities like a cupcake decorating party and a smoothie bar for the kids to enjoy. There will be something for everyone!
“We are very excited to introduce our business to the 16th Street Heights neighborhood,” said Robert Hogans of Social Kitchen. “Our motto is Cook.Eat.Connect. We want to create an environment where the community connects in meaningful ways around our collective love for food. We think Social Kitchen will be a great addition to, and for the neighborhood.”
The event will take place on Saturday, November 9th from 11am to 2pm at 5505 Colorado Ave, NW Washington, D.C., 20011. Guests can RSVP for free on Eventbrite at https://socialkitchendcgrandopening.eventbrite.com and view more information on our social media handles.
