The Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry (MOA), Sarawak, recently found DNA of the African swine fever virus in a can of luncheon meat that was imported from China. The Department of Veterinary Services Sarawak (DVSS) reported that the virus was found in one out of seventeen canned pork products that were imported from China and tested.
