Miami, FL, USA – The newly formed artist collective Chrislex Studio will release a series of 20 small paintings on canvas, each sized 8×10 and framed. The series is entitled “Color Pursuit” and embodies that pursuit in many ways:
• The pursuit of mastery of color theory.
• The pursuit of the emerging artist.
• The pursuit of proper technique.
• The pursuit of the artist identity.
• The pursuit of love.
• The pursuit of composition.
“We are fascinated by how colors interact with each other. By working in a fluid medium, we are pursuing to understand the synergistic relationships of the colors and the mesmerizing effects they create.”
The members of the artist collective are Alex Ramirez and Christy Krepss.
Alex has had a passion for art his entire life and was able to apply his creative abilities as he studied architecture in college, but never really pursued art professionally until meeting Christy.
Christy has enjoyed doing art as a hobby since studying it in college in 2000. This year, after the mutual love of art between Alex and Christy inspired renewed enthusiasm and creativity, the two decided to pursue art more seriously and formed Chrislex Studio. Christy and Alex live together and are sharing their love of art with Alex’s two children, who both were recently accepted to show their work at a juried youth art show.
