In the afternoon of Jan. 15, 2020 the Fourth New Year Dialogue Between Diplomats and Business Leaders was grandly held at Shangri-La’s China World Hotel Beijing. Jiang Zengwei, the former Deputy Director of the Ministry of Commerce and the former President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Karin Ma, the Executive President of the SZIF, 23 diplomats, ambassadors, more than 100 ambassadors to China and representatives of commercial agency from more than 50 countries (regions), and over 400 China’s commerce representatives and a total of more than 600 Chinese and foreign guests attended this event.

Speech by President Jiang Ming of the China General Chamber of Commerce
The SZIF is guided by the CBOSM, hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce and organized by Shenzhen All World International Exhibition Co., Ltd, with more than 80 countries and regions to participate in it. President Jiang Ming of the China General Chamber of Commerce pointed out in his speech that the world economy still faces many difficulties and uncertainties, and the downward pressure on China’s economy is increasing. China’s domestic consumer goods market is generally stable, maintaining a good momentum of steady progress. The contribution rate of final consumption to economic growth has exceeded 60%, which has become the first engine for China’s stable economic and social growth and prosperity. The New Year Dialogue held by the China General Chamber of Commerce since 2017 has deepened the communication and exchanges between the diplomats and business leaders and improved the level of cooperation in trade and commerce between China and other countries.
In the dialogue, the China General Chamber of Commerce released a commentary report on the 2020 China’s Top 10 Business Hot spots Prospect, which integrates the authoritative comments of over 160 experts in macro economy and commerce circulation about 2019 economic trend analysis and 2020 economic trend prediction. The China Chamber of Commerce and research center of Fung Group have released China’s Top 10 Business Hot spots Prospect for 17 consecutive years.
