The holidays represent a time of giving, and Spread the Purple, a New-Jersey-based financial aid and non-profit that helps those in need, has announced the launch of its new and more accessible website just in time.
Spread the Purple is preparing for the holidays and winter season by raising money to help homeowners who may need assistance with forthcoming high home heating bills. They are also assisting local communities affected by last month’s Hurricane Sandy which devastated parts of the Northeast, by educating homeowners and business owners on emergency financial assistance, short term loans and grants that are available to help.
While the hurricane has passed and the news of Sandy has become stale, what many don’t realize is that there are still so many people left without power from Sandy in the New Jersey/New York area. Spread the Purple is working hard to raise money to provide remaining victims with backup generators and funds to help families in those areas. “We take pride in offering the best educational tools to support those who may have short-term emergency expenses that we’ve all encountered before,” said company Founder Maryange Ariste. “We can help with that unexpected car repair, an unusually large heating bill and recently of course, help those affected by natural disaster find the help they need to recover.”
Spread The Purple understands how much work it takes to research, find and apply for the right resources in times of crisis. They specialize in doing the legwork and finding solutions that best fit each case for all 50 states. Spread The Purple also will provide educational tools that will allow an individual or family to continue their efforts to strive in a positive light.
