Nov. 20, 2013 – HOWELL, Mich. — Noah Hornberger, a 3D modeler and former Pixar intern and Bryn Braughton, a video game composer have announced the world premier of their Geodo Building Toy, available now for pre-order through the Geodo crowd-funding page on indiegogo.
Geodo is a container of bendable foam shapes. 3D models and forms are constructed by sliding together the brightly colored pieces in any arrangement. These simple and intuitive toys are held in place by a friction fit for the rapid construction of highly creative geometries.
They are well prepared to launch Geodo with an outpouring of support from facebook and the toys and parenting blog-sphere.
Each piece can flex and bend to form organic and sprawling creations that pop out in all directions. The notched design and specific shapes have been developed to make building easy and rewarding for children of all ages.
Several sizes of geodo packages and rewards are available for enthusiasts who like the idea and want to help the Geodo partners fund the first mass production run. Noah has also stated that he intends to send 10% of the mass produced product to orphanages around the world.
Through their silliness and simplicity, Geodos are one new toy to watch out for. Read more about the fantastic possibilities of Geodo today:
