CHICAGO, Illinois – March 12, 2020 – Financial literacy is crucial to lead a fulfilling secured life and finance management lessons should be ingrained from childhood. Here comes great news for parents who are looking for ways to teach financial literacy to their little ones. Chicago real estate investor Pongee Barnes has recently released a book series that aims to educate and expose young children to financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

“We are living in a time when financial literacy, multiple revenue streams and generational wealth are a part of our daily conversations. When I wanted to teach my sons about financial literacy, I realized there aren’t adequate books that can teach little ones in ways they could understand. It inspired me to create  my new series ‘Little Owners’ and my two little sons, Benjamin (9 years) and Franklin (6 years) have also co-authored with me”, stated Pongee Barnes.

Some of the books from the Little Owners series include –

Franklin the Franchise Owner – The book is about a hard-working teen named Franklin who works at a fast-food restaurant and how he buys a restaurant and becomes a successful franchise owner.

Riley the Real Estate Investor – The book is based on Riley who starts out as a real estate agent and how she elevates herself into the most famous real estate investor in America.

Ben the Banker – The book traces Ben’s journey of becoming a co-owner and founder of a community bank.

Robert the Real Estate Investor – This book will take readers through Robert’s journey of becoming a real estate mogul.

“The good thing is parents today understand the value of teaching financial literacy and entrepreneurship to their kids .The plan is to grow the number of books to 25 by the final quarter of 2020. Little Owners aims to be like Scholastic and strives to have curriculum in every school to motivate young students and become a cornerstone in the market,” Author and Mother Pongee Barnes stated.
