Franklin, MA – June 17, 2020 – Jaco Inc., manufacturer of mobile and wall-mounted computer workstations for healthcare providers’ point-of-care applications, announced two new ways for customers to introduce themselves to Jaco EVO™, the company’s groundbreaking light weight Electronic Health Recordkeeping (EHR) cart platform.
Starting today, Jaco is offering EVO Tele-Demos – live, customized EVO product demonstrations broadcast via teleconference from Jaco’s corporate offices and manufacturing headquarters in Franklin, MA.
Also today, Jaco relaunched its online EVO Configurator, enabling nurse managers, IT staff and hospital administrators to select an EVO cart model, customize it with power and options and accessories, and generate a complete cart spec and part list to share with colleagues and healthcare IT decision makers.
Attend a cart demo like no other
Before each EVO Tele-Demo, Jaco product engineers will outfit an EVO cart to the hospital or healthcare system’s exact specifications. Then via teleconference, Jaco sales and engineering executives will walk attendees through the cart feature by feature and answer any and all customer questions live.
But there’s more.
“We tell customers we build EVO like a Formula One race car, with super strong, super light welded tube frame and aircraft-grade aluminum body panels,” said Gary Brayton, National Sales Director at Jaco. “Broadcasting live from headquarters, we can actually show how EVO is built, providing an ‘under-the-hood’ look at cart components that we really can’t provide at the hospital. We can also show customers our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, featuring the latest automated tools and robotics for cutting, bending, welding and powder coating metal. It’s one of the most advanced precision metal fabrication facilities in the country.”
Customers interested in a tele-demo can sign up via Jaco’s web site.
Build your EVO online
Jaco’s EVO Configurator lets customers build and customize an EVO cart online, in much the same way many automobile manufacturers’ web sites let customers build out a favorite car model. Customers simply choose an EVO model – LCD, Laptop or Podium – and then add plug-in or hot-swap power, storage, options, accessories, and even custom accent colors to meet their specific workflow requirements.
The EVO configurator updates an image of the cart as the customer adds options. When finished, the customer can save the EVO configuration – complete with all necessary part numbers – in PDF format and share it via email with coworkers and decision-makers, or with a Jaco sales rep.
“The EVO Configurator is a fast, easy, convenient way to get to know EVO and the ways it can be customized for any workflow,” said Brayton. “And it generates a detailed cart spec that’s perfect for communicating point-of-care EHR requirements to anyone involved in the healthcare system’s cart purchase process.”
“It’s also a great way to spec out a custom cart for your EVO Tele-Demo,” Brayton added.
