The La Jolla Masonic Lodge, part of the world’s oldest and largest fraternal organization, continues to be a driving force in showing kindness to humanity by donating to front line workers during the ongoing pandemic.
With the continuous rise in the cases of COVID-19, frontline health-workers are prone to many job associated risks. Because of the sacrifices made by these professionals, members of the La Jolla Masonic Lodge have raised over $600 worth of donations, solely from it’s members, to provide meals for over 85 front line workers. Lunches were provided for the Doctors, Nurses, and Hospital staff at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla.
When talking about the Fraternity, the La Jolla Masonic Lodge said “We take care of the well-being of our brothers, families, and the community as a whole. We provide relief through philanthropy, community involvement, and brotherly love”. Relief is one of our enduring and relevant values. We take responsibility for the well-being of our brothers, our families and our communities. We treat this as both our duty and privilege. All of our philanthropic causes are supported entirely by our members’ generous contributions.
La Jolla Masonic Lodge is a one of its kind organization because the focus of the fraternity is to promote harmony in the local and global community. The proof of this is the fact that Masonry is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility and opportunity to help make the world a better place.
