ASYSTEM, the LA based wellness company, is launching the ‘Bound Upwards’ lookbook featuring interviews with a range of today’s most relevant creatives and entrepreneurs, all in support of Fair Fight to combat voter suppression.
The lookbook comes from ASYSTEM’s apparel collection, ‘Bound Upwards’, in collaboration with creative powerhouse Studio Institute. Designed by Nate Brown, a former creative director for Beyonce and Kanye West, the limited-edition unisex apparel collection features bold colors, graphics and expressions inspired by the power of visualization to drive positive change.
“As the fight against racial injustice, police brutality, and the marginalization of minorities gathers momentum, the action of casting your vote for change takes on greater importance,” Brown said. “The issue is that over the last decade Americans have found it increasingly difficult to cast their vote.”
To support the fight against voter suppression, ASYSTEM x Studio Institute created a lookbook featuring influential individuals who use their platform to generate action. Interviewees include Mandana Dayani, Creator & Co-founder, I am a voter; Nieves Zuberbühler, CBS News Reporter & Producer; award winning creative Madison Utendahl; actor Neels, as well as range of today’s most relevant creatives and entrepreneurs.
ASYSTEM x Studio Institute will also donate 10% of merchandise sales to Fair Fight, and from now until November will be using their platforms to amplify their message and actively volunteer to support this cause.
ASYSTEM co founders Oli Walsh and Josh LeVine explained, “Expanded voting rights are essential to correcting the racist exclusion that has plagued American democracy. For this collection, we are proud to be supporting Fair Fight, an organization led by Stacy Abrahms whose mission is ‘to advocate for free and fair elections, to ensure access to democracy for all’.”
