RIDGEFIELD, CT – Brewster HamletHub and editors Margaret and Peter Carey received a proclamation from The Village of Brewster for supporting their community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Brewster HamletHub and it’s Editors were considered and recognized as a vital and essential part of the community for keeping Village residents informed throughout the emergency,” the Village of Brewster said.
With nonessential businesses forced to close and residents confined to their homes in an effort to eliminate the spread of the virus, Brewster HamletHub sprung into action providing continuous and reliable information.
“We are grateful to the Village of Brewster for recognizing Brewster HamletHub. We are happy to continue to provide up-to-date information to keep our community safe and informed,” said Margaret Carey.
Brewster HamletHub received an official proclamation from Village Trustees Mary Bryde and George Gaspar along with Village Clerk Michelle Chiudina outside of Brewster Village Hall.
In June, the Village of Brewster Board of Trustees asked the public to nominate businesses in the Village who have supported the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
