The Globe and Mail has recognized construction software company Bridgit as one of Canada’s fastest-growing firms for the second consecutive year.
Bridgit’s three-year revenue growth of 135% places it ahead of more than 100 other Canadian firms, including TextNow and East Side Games, on the list.
Bridgit is a Waterloo, Ontario-based company that develops software for construction companies. Founded in 2014, the company is best-known for Bridgit Bench, its acclaimed construction resource management program introduced in 2019.
Bridgit has raised more than US$15.7 million in funding from other notable North American software companies such as Autodesk and Salesforce Ventures.
The company is led by CEO Mallorie Brodie and COO Lauren Lake, both of whom have also been recognized in Forbes as being among Canada’s leading entrepreneurs in construction.

The Globe and Mail has been ranking Canada’s fastest-growing companies since 2019. In that inaugural year, Bridgit ranked 79th on the list thanks to its impressive three-year growth of 612%.
The Globe and Mail prepares this list annually to “celebrate entrepreneurial achievement” in Canada. James Cowan, editor of Report on Business magazine, calls this year’s list particularly important as a testament to how forward-thinking Canadian companies have thrived despite the incredible economic turmoil the nation has experienced.

In 2014, the company introduced Bridgit Field, its punch list and inspection software. In 2019, Bridgit Bench was launched and has since become the company’s flagship offering.
