Exporting and importing allows businesses to expand internationally. Multinational trading corporation Cangem Global sees a lot of export-import potential in North American companies. To harness this potential, the company offers an online program for people who want to grow an export-import & shipping business, the only such complete training course conducted by an export-import corporation and not a training institute, as stated by this company. The company is set to welcome the November batch of its much-awaited training program on November 7.
The training, which will run until November 29, seeks to teach newbies the process of exporting, importing, shipping and pertaining documentation. It will also provide knowledge on the compliance requirements of export-import businesses in North America. It will also provide useful market insights, most ideal commodities to trade, teach trainees to find genuine sellers and buyers, do due diligence and more.
“The problem is that people who are doing this business are not teaching and the ones who are teaching have never done this business. Learn from the people who are doing this business,” said Cangem Global CEO Shanu Chadha.
The said program will be conducted online as the company previously released guidelines in fulfilling their social responsibility by refraining from conducting physical training and instructing their staff to work from home.
Despite the company’s new remote setup, top executives say they made sure they will have available staff to respond to all emails and calls regularly.
The format of the online training will include an audio-video input for presenters and attendees, screen shares, file sharing, and digital whiteboarding.
To participate, attendees simply need to have a strong and reliable internet connection as well as a laptop with working speakers and a microphone.
Past attendees share positive feedback about the training, going as far as saying that the training was “a life-changing experience.” and that it was “above and beyond expectations.”
After the training, the program will also include an 8-week consultation period to enable attendees to ask for practical information and active guidance about the industry.
During this consultation period, the training’s presenters and facilitators will make sure the trainees are performing what they learned. They will also ensure that the trainees will choose proper International Commercial Terms, payment terms, and documentation, before issuing a proforma or attaching their signatures to any agreement.
The schedule of the live online webinars will be on weekends, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM EST.
