The show premiered on August 25, 2020 on Netflix and is hosted by MIT graduate Emily Calandrelli. The show is designed to get kids interested in everything from tornados and clouds to slime and static electricity.
“My favorite experiment was the slime pool,” Zaela exclaims. “We made a huge pool of slime that all the kids swam in and we learned about cross-linking polymers.”
Zaela, who started singing and performing at eight, got her start in the entertainment industry through voice overs and can currently be heard as the character Claudette in the HBO Max show, “The Fungies.”
In addition to her acting and singing career, Zaela also participates in the Green Schools Campaign, an organization that is devoted to turning schools over to using green energy, and is a Girl Scout Cadette. Her advice to kids starting in the industry:
“You have to have perseverance. There will be roadblocks ahead but you have to find a way around it.”
She is represented by the DDO Agency and managed by Ivy Lundeen.
