Debra Murrow, of COLORME Art Spa, is participating in two festivals during November 2020. Murrow will be running a live painting event at The Kierland POP Art Festival at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, Arizona and will also contribute to the Unicorn Festival at Hidden Lake in Buckeye, Arizona. While promoting healing, understanding, and creativity at these festivals, Murrow will reach new audiences and further expand her business through art.
The Kierland POP Art Festival is a collaboration between Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance, Kierland Commons, and Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. At her event, “Come Paint with Me,” Murrow will perform a live painting event to encourage viewers to explore their own creativity through a combination of visual word art and abstraction. Though the festival will run from 13 November until 15 November, Murrow’s live painting will be from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM on 14 November.
On 15 November, The Unicorn Festival will transport participants into another world where unicorns are brought to life. Tickets will cost 17.50 for children aged 2-17 and will be free for adults and infants aged 0-1 when reserved online. There will be mini-workshops, bouncy castles, food trucks, and a “real” unicorn. Murrow will help to bring the magic by sharing her artistic skills and her passion for children to the event. Making art is making magic, and Murrow’s talent for teaching and sharing her gifts will spark the magic within those that attend the event.
Committed to the business of inspiration, Murrow’s COLORME Art Spa continues to grow. Recently, Murrow launched a new function of her business: graphic recording. By recording meetings and events in a series of drawings, Murrow is able to translate a speaker’s words into illustrated meanings. Murrow will also continue to develop an online pen and ink art class for COLORME Art Spa. The class will be in a downloadable video format, for easy accessibility. About herself and her business, Murrow states:
“I’m passionate about people growing. I’m passionate about people knowing where they are going. If you’re not growing you’re not standing still you’re actually going backward. Let’s reinforce that and move forward together.”
Companies looking for creative ways to connect with their teams can hire COLORME Art Spa for both in-person and virtual holiday parties, including commissioning a one-of-a-kind black and white COLORME drawing with the company’s goals, mission and logo. From workshops to birthday parties, to shrinkable ornaments, COLORME Art Spa inspires people to come together.
