Ron Stravinsky, a serial entrepreneur and author located in New York, NY, has announced an exciting new crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for a new children’s novel. Titled “Ron and Rona Beat the Corona,” this novel is the sequel to “Ron and Rona Fight the Corona.” Both works aim to teach children, many of whom are confused and frightened by current events, about what the Coronavirus means for them through a simple and age-appropriate approach. Much like its predecessor, “Ron and Rona Beat the Corona” will educate children about the Coronavirus, specifically concerning a potential vaccine and recovery from the pandemic.
Co-written by an elementary school teacher and certified pediatricians, “Ron and Rona Beat the Corona” was born out of a simple need: to deepen children’s understanding of the pandemic through a simple, fun and educational approach.
With a total goal of $3,500, the campaign’s funds will be used towards shipping, printing, promotion, fees and more. Until December 11, 2020, the project’s early backers can purchase a digital copy of the first book for $10, or a hardcover copy for $20. Each board book is 8”x8” with 24 full-color pages and eye-popping illustrations.
