Erjon Ajazi, a self-published science-fiction author and journalist located in Arlington, VA, has announced the launch of a new crowdfunding campaign for his latest work. The novel, titled “The Experiment,” is a sci-fi story that imagines the birth of a new world not unlike our own.
“The Experiment” follows the events that take place after three genius hackers decide to wreak havoc upon the world through three different experiments. The first occurs through a massive cyberattack that renders internet and cellular devices completely useless. The second eliminates any and all money from bank accounts across the world, causing governments to begin deteriorating. The final experiment concludes with a deadly virus that aims to wipe out a large portion of the current population.
However, survivors soon find artificial intelligence taking over their scarred world’s remains, leading to a reality that is far more sinister than the one they once knew.
With a total goal of $7,400, funds will be used to cover printing costs. Early backers can pledge as little as $5 to receive a digital PDF, Epub and Mobi format for any electronic devices of the author’s previous book paired with a desktop wallpaper of the cover. For $12, backers can secure their digital PDF copy of “The Experiment” for 20% off, or $20 for a paperback copy. Supplies are currently limited, so early buyers are encouraged to place their orders as soon as possible.
