Ninole, HI – As the holidays draw nearer, many families have begun planning ahead for Christmas and other festivities. Seeing as a Christmas tree is an important part of the celebration, Hamakua Christmas Tree Forest is proud to be offering the residents of Hawaii’s Big Island a chance to browse hundreds of trees, and choose their own live Christmas tree from their forest.
Announcing this ahead of the holidays, the representative for the company noted that the Christmas trees have been locally grown in open-air fields perfect for socially-distanced and safe selection.
“We are proud to grow Live Christmas Trees on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Our locally grown trees, including Portuguese and Arizona Cypress, are planted and cared for on acres of open fields, welcoming families now through Christmas to pick out their own and cut it themselves or have us cut it down for you. We invite the public to ‘Think Outside the Container’ and avoid imported Christmas Trees available at the big box stores that get shipped in from the Northwest that could bring in invasive species and that don’t hold up well in our climate. Our trees are also treated for fire ants and are sustainably grown right here on Hawaii soil,” said the representative for the Christmas tree reserve.
Hamakua Christmas Tree Forest allows individuals and families access to the best selection of fresh, real Christmas trees that are still living and growing in the ground. Customers who show up early to the farm will have access to the very best selection of Christmas trees that can be reserved until they are ready to take them home to decorate. The reserve also offers families a fun place to debate lovingly and agree on which of the hundreds of Christmas trees best describes their joy and journey through the year.
Customers can rest assured that Hamakua Christmas Tree Forest carries a large variety of trees for the new Hawaiian Christmas, with sizes ranging from 2-foot tall potted ‘desktop’ trees to planted trees over 15-foot tall and every size in between.
Proudly serving the Island of Hawai’i with the finest and strongest Christmas trees that stand strong, smell great, don’t shed needles, support ornaments without drooping, and contribute to supporting local Hawaii agriculture, you can find Hamakua Christmas Tree Forest on Google Maps for directions or find more info at Hamakua Christmas Tree Forest on Google Search.
