CyLumena, a prominent cybersecurity consulting firm, has formalized its relationship as a solution reseller with Sepio Systems, the leader in Hardware Access Control (HAC).
Through this strategic partnership with Sepio Systems, CyLumena now offers the firm’s extensive customer base a HAC solution to mitigate the risk of rogue hardware devices and provide greater visibility into physical assets, including managed, unmanaged, IoT, BYOD and endpoints.
“Institutions in financial services, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing are clamoring for hardware access management. They have seen that the cyber threat to physical assets is real. And, as our clients move work and customer service to IoT, BYOD, and more endpoints, they want best-in-class HAC solutions. Through this partnership, CyLumena can deliver a solution that solves a critical need for our clients, while complementing our existing suite of services,” shares Chris Dinnin, CyLumena’s Managing Director.
Sepio’s HAC-1 platform uses a novel algorithm, a combination of physical layer fingerprinting module coupled with a machine learning module, which is further augmented by a threat intelligence database.
Yossi Appleboum, CEO of Sepio Systems, added, “As the leading cybersecurity firm in the Pittsburgh region, we believe that the partnership with CyLumena positions Sepio’s HAC solution to provide a new level of threat visibility and enforcement using AI. Our combined, proven expertise will bring greater transparency, protection, and added value to every enterprise.”
HAC-1 Capabilities include:
- Complete Visibility of all Hardware Assets: With all devices and anomalies detected, enterprises benefit from a greater overall cybersecurity posture. Gaining full visibility of all hardware devices from endpoint peripherals to connected devices (IT/OT/IoT), Sepio’s uses unique physical layer hardware fingerprinting technology and data augmentation from endpoints and networks.
- Full Control through Predefined Policies: Enterprise-wide policies enable compliance, regulation and best practices. With predefined templates and no baselining nor whitelisting and no requirement for a clean environment start, Sepio provides a fast and easy setup.
- Rogue Device Mitigation (RDM): Threat mitigation upon discovery of rogue or threatening devices. Integrations with existing security platforms such as NACs and SOARs for mitigation and remediation enhancements.
