December 8, 2020 – From the studio to the world, D.A.T. aims to catapult artists onto the global stage. For indie and upcoming music artists, successful online promotion is the difference between going mainstream and years of more struggle. Music distribution service DAT Distribution is unlike other music distributors when it comes to promoting new artists. D.A.T., short for Distribution And Tours, promotes artists by distributing their music and placing them on tour with the biggest names in music.
Just launched a music single or dropped an EP? D.A.T. can get it distributed to over 30 streaming platforms! That includes Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube, Soundcloud, Pandora, Tidal, and Tik Tok, which makes up for a total of over 6 billion music consumers. From underground artists to aspiring singers, hobbyists, or just about anyone who has created music, D.A.T. can make a difference. The icing on the cake is, artists get to keep 85% of the royalties.
The latest promotional offer from D.A.T. is the Opening Act Plan. This plan gives artists 100% of royalties, provides them an opportunity to become the opening act of major tours or perform at after-parties.
“The Opening Act Plan takes away the need for a booking agent or a major record company and places the artist in total control of their career and business,” says a spokesperson for D.A.T.
The Opening Act Plan is set to launch in 2021. In the first phase, the Opening Act Plan will introduce a new Hip Hop artist to the world on the Feed The Streets tour as the opening act. This artist will also be paid for performing instead of paying to perform at the Feed The Streets tour. Originally scheduled for summer 2020, the tour featured Rick Ross, Jeezy, 2Chainz, T.I., Yo Gotti, Lil Kim Lil Bossie and a D.A.T distributed artist as the opening act.
D.A.T also has a distribution, Radio airplay and touring plan for established artists who have a built-in fan base and have opted to go independent. These include artists like Fantasia, Anthony Hamilton, Keisha Cole, Charlie Wilson and more.
“D.A.T has the winning formula and is poised to become the premier music distribution in the future,” says the spokesman.
The music promo service is the concept of former record executive and label owner, Mark Skeete. Mark has also co-founded the concert promotion company, We Are Live Entertainment. D.A.T. stands for Distribution And Tours, a complete package for both aspiring and established singers, musicians, or recording artists.
