TAQS.IM recently released their new iOS AUv3 World Synth & Drum Pad Machine App. The app is a professional piano and synthesizer that allows it’s users to play World Sounds and Rhythms on their iPhone or iPad and in Garage Band, Cubasis, Beatmaker 3, and other DAW’s as an AUv3 plugin. The app also has various innovative and helpful resources from sound packs, rhythm trainer, world scales, drones, and a community of talented musicians.
Users can create or import their custom sounds and rhythms to share with the ever-growing community of 50,000 other musicians using the app. They can also import and tweak Korg KMP or SFZ format sounds and load custom WAV and AIFF files to play within the drum machine player. All users can share their sonic creations with the world by uploading them to the user community for others to download.
TAQ.IM partnered with producers worldwide to bring hundreds of authentic sounds and rhymes to use in the app’s sound packs. Users can expand their musical horizons by playing Arabic, Armenian, Turkish, Persian, Balkan, European, Greek, Mediterranean, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Klezmer, Latin & South American sounds, scales, and rhythms.
The app’s Rhythm Trainer provides a built-in drum pad machine for users to play along with unique world rhythms and import their custom loops to play along. The app syncs up with Ableton Link to integrate with the user’s studio, software, and hardware gear. Users can use the World Scales feature to enhance their musical vocabulary by learning Makam, Raga, and other scales from across the world.
For a monthly or yearly plan, users can become a TAQS.IM Premium Member to access all the sound packs and other features.
