Noberto Ayala-Flores, owner of Puente Marketing Communications, was excited to see a calendar that was focused on teaching positivity and represented the Latino cultural image of Hispanic youth. “The Hispanic/Latino market is young, vibrant and growing. Culture matters, more than ever,” says Noberto. The calendar is a wonderful way to bring self-love, and empowerment concepts to the youth in a way that was fun and inviting, as well as being reflective and inspirational.
Jen Landis creates calendars to align the population that is less represented by mainstream media. The calendar also includes Hispanic holidays so more youth can learn about their history and marks birthdays of notable Hispanic women. The calendars are written in Spanish with English translations, a way for multi-generations to engage with the positive messages together.
Jen Landis says, “Youth today, face challenges with their self-image in their middle school years, so I have created a calendar to guide them into positive self talk, mindfulness and inspiration that lasts the whole year.”
Puente Marketing, located in Kansas City, MO, helps companies and organizations connect with Hispanic markets and communities throughout the United States and is tuned in to the emerging markets across the country. Puente provided education, insight, strategic and creative guidance for the Pincurl Girl Hispanic calendar.
