Dr. Tonya Cunningham wasn’t envisioning a future with such influence and purpose when she spent her days trying to survive domestic violence, loss, divorce, and depression. Her own life experiences inspired her to turn the grief and sorrow into a powerful message when she wrote her first book, “I Got My Marbles Back”, in which she shares her incredible story. The book made a huge impact and drove her to write a sequel, “Griefwork Is Essential Not Optional”. This literary work explores how grief impacts our mental and emotional capacity. It provides insight into the grieving process, a path to recovery, and the building blocks to healing.
