London, England – CVEDIA, a synthetic data artificial intelligence (AI) solutions company, today announced new solutions leveraging AWS Panorama. Releasing 24 out of the box algorithms with AWS Panorama, CVEDIA algorithms will also be customizable through professional services.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently announced AWS Panorama, an Appliance and Software Development Kit (SDK) that allows organizations to bring computer vision (CV) to on-premises cameras to make predictions locally with high accuracy and low latency. With AWS Panorama, you can automate tasks that have traditionally required human inspection to improve visibility into potential issues.
CVEDIA, a computer vision solutions company, creates algorithms using only synthetic data, allowing clients to create solutions where data is limited or unavailable. CVEDIA technology turns AI development into a quick, predictable software cycle, reducing risk and simplifying product development for clients. Operating in several industries, CVEDIA algorithms are suitable for low power edge devices, cloud, and docker deployment.
The AWS Panorama Appliance is a hardware device that allows you to add CV to your internet protocol (IP) cameras that weren’t built to accommodate computer vision. AWS Panorama Appliance turns your existing cameras into smart cameras that can run CV models on multiple concurrent video streams.
The AWS Panorama Device SDK is a software kit that enables third-party manufacturers to build new cameras that run more meaningful CV models at the edge for tasks like object detection or activity recognition. AWS Panorama-compatible cameras work out of the box with AWS machine learning services.
“Through AWS Panorama, we’re offering our market an easier way to integrate our services into their systems,” said Arjan Wijnveen, CEO of CVEDIA. “Our team is on hand to integrate our algorithms into your product requirements.”
CVEDIA creates end-to-end computer vision solutions that encompass software, hardware, and integration support for applications where traditional data collection isn’t possible. Used by over 30 Global 500 companies, CVEDIA’s proprietary simulator SynCity provides a backdrop for algorithm design while being rigorously validated by data scientists, and each algorithm comes fully supported for improvements and maintenance. CVEDIA technology paves the way for new product opportunities, safer technology, and better performance.
