Washington, D.C. – January 28, 2021 – With people reporting higher stress levels across the country due to pandemic-related stressors, D.C.-based Kinara Health and Home Care Services is on a mission to provide relief with a new educational campaign to help people destress. The campaign, called “Live Better Daily,” promotes Kinara mental health experts’ top tips for living a more stress-free life.
“Live Better Daily” highlights the simple but often overlooked ways in which people can improve their own experience.
“With the nation and our own community suffering from the fallout of the pandemic, the past election year and other daily stressors, we felt it was a critical time to create an outreach program and help offer relief to those who need it.” Said Kinara CEO Jaqueline Adoko. “The Live Better Daily educational campaign will utilize all media channels to educate people about the importance of meditation, practicing mindfulness, monitoring social media and news consumption and more.”
Among the campaign’s many positive messages, Kinara representatives highlighted the need for people to get adequate rest, exercise and nutrition.
“Intrinsically, we all know that these things are important.” Said Adoko, “But when you look at data related to the adverse effects of lack of exercise and poor eating habits, the consequences become clear. Our purpose with this educational campaign is to share the facts related to mental health issues and offer solutions that can help.”
The Live Better Daily campaign will continue on the company’s social media pages including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
For D.C. area residents experiencing stress and anxiety, Kinara offers telecounseling services to address various forms of mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and more.
