Fiehluna's Journey - A true story of bravery and struggle for survival

The exciting new autobiography “Fiehluna`s Journey”
Fiehluna Assungwa shares the first part of her moving life story in her autobiography “Fiehluna`s Journey”.

When Fiehluna was only four years old, her mother left the family to escape the violence of her husband. But she doesn’t take the children with her. Fiehluna then grew up with her very strict father and many siblings in Cameroon. Not only is the man violent towards the whole family, but he also keeps them prisoner. His anger knows no bounds. But that doesn’t stop Fiehluna from secretly meeting up with friends and growing up like a normal girl. She firmly believes that her father is using the wrong methods to raise her and her siblings, and she wants to stop him. When Fiehluna turns 18, she finally turns against her father because, like her mother, she no longer wants to continue this way.

Readers follow Fiehluna Assungwa’s moving life story in “Fiehluna’s Journey” with excitement and accompany the author on her bumpy path to freedom. The book ends with Fiehluna’s trip to a host family in Germany – a continuation of the story is planned. This true story allows readers a glimpse into the reality of many Indian girls and aims to enlighten and stimulate thought, but also to encourage other people in similar situations.
